Role Overview:
This is a pivotal role within Orange, where scalability and decentralization are at the core of our mission. As a Senior Rust Developer, you’ll be instrumental in building, evolving, and maintaining our next-generation suite of BRC-20 products.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and develop scalable backend systems and APIs for our DeFi platform, ensuring high reliability and performance under large fluctuations in traffic.
- Contribute to our ecosystem of BRC-20 products, working primarily in Rust, and interact with Bitcoin Blockchain exploring the development of a layer 2 solution.
- Actively participate in code reviews and feature development, collaborating closely with a cross-functional team of DeFi, AI, and blockchain experts.
Requirements:
- Deep expertise in Rust, with 6+ years of experience in backend development.
- Experience with blockchain technologies and Layer 2 scalability solutions preferred.
- Proven track record of developing high-performance, multi-threaded applications and deploying software to production environments.
- BSc in Computer Science, Math, or a related field.
- Knowledge in scaling production databases (Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB) and building systems with financial or security constraints is highly regarded.
- Passion for Web3, open-source code, DeFi and more
